Some clarification and simplification...

I decided to simplify and clarify my stock rules by separating my stock galleries into two separate groups: UNRESTRICTED STOCK and RESTRICTED STOCK.

UNRESTRICTED STOCK is basically self explanatory. The pics designated unrestricted are either of myself or friends who are fully willing to have their pics posted as stock, or of animals or inanimate objects. Use them however you like, for reference or photomanipulations, on DeviantArt or your personal website, even for profit, if you like. All I ask is that you let me see what you've done. The following galleries are UNRESTRICTED STOCK:

Gunslinger
Female Gunslinger
Sorceress
Helmet
Higgins Armory
Beardsley Zoo
Plimoth Buildings

RESTRICTED STOCK is usually of historical reenactors in period dress. Their inclusion as stock is intended for clothing, figure and form reference for traditional artists. They may also be used for tasteful (i.e., not pornographic, hateful, or ridiculously gory) photomanipulations, provided that these are posted on DeviantArt ONLY, and not for profit. The only exception to this rule would be if the parts of the photo you use in your manipulation are not recognizable as the model (for example, a piece of armor or clothing but NOT a face). Again, let me see what you've done. The following galleries are RESTRICTED:

Gettysburg
Sturbridge Village
Renaissance Faire
Cowboy Mounted Shooting
Wild West Fair
Plimoth Colonists
Salem

A Few Simple Things Before You Use...

Just a reminder about rules for use of my stock:

The following series are of myself or Jenn and can be used pretty much without restriction, just let me see what you've done with it and don't redistribute it as your own without significant artistic changes (i.e., don't just apply a PhotoShop filter and pass it off as your own):

The Gunslinger Series,
The Female Gunslinger Series,
Helmet series
and the Sorceress Series.

Photo stock of objects, such as the "Armor Series" can be used without restriction, just let me see what you've made with it.

Photo stock of other people (usually historical reenactors) MUST abide by the following restrictions: traditional artists may use the photos as reference materials for their own art provided it's tasteful and does not disrespect the model. Photomanipulators may use these photos on Deviant Art ONLY, not for profit, and nothing pornographic or disrespectful to the model. These rules pertain to the following stock:

The Gettysburg Series
The Renaissance Faire Series
and the Sturbridge Village Series

Okay, so I've finally figured out how to zip files and make stock packs! Hurray for me! I've also figured out how to organize my gallery into sections, so viewers can reach a specific batch quickly. Hope this makes my stock more useful...

A Few Simple Things Before You Use...

My rules are pretty simple, and much like other DA stock providers.

Traditional media artists may use any of the stock provided here for photo reference. Photomanipulators may use them on DeviantArt only, and please be tactful (these are pictures of REAL people, after all). And please credit and link me, so I can see what you've made.

I have to insist on non-commercial usage for photomanipulators, out of consideration for the many reenactors that I travel around and photograph.

The only exceptions to this are the photos of me and Jenn (the Gunslinger, Female Gunslinger, and Sorceress pics) and those of objects (such as the Armor pics). These you can use pretty much however you like, even outside DA, just give credit.
